Paata Gaprindashvili was born 1964 in Sverdlovsk (Russia) ex name of the city Yekaterinburg between 1924 and 1991. Paata is former chess coach. Today he works as a beekeeper in family business. He came in touch with correspondence chess in year 1990. In year 2001 he won the European Championship! mr. Gaprindasvhili likes to write chess books. His books "Imagination in Chess" (2004) and "Critical Moments in Chess" (2010) are published in Batsford (UK). |
